Farm to Fork Tour

The Texas Beef Council recently hosted 24 dietetic interns and their faculty for a farm to fork tour. The tour began with attendees learning more about beef nutrition through presentations covering the evolution of lean beef, beef’s nutrient profile and a summary of beef nutrition research. Experts in animal and meat science also presented a beef industry overview covering the production process from pasture to plate prior to the group touring a ranch. The Texas Beef Checkoff Program continues to invest in demand - building programs such as farm to fork experiences.
